The Faber Group Fund
The Faber Fund is an important new instrument in our aim to contribute to a cleaner, greener environment and a more sustainable, circular economy.
In 2018, the Faber Group Fund selected its first projects, such as a memorial wood in Sint Maartenszee, Noord-Holland and the Tiny Forest initiative that aims to plant small, children-friendly, educational forests in intensely urbanized areas. All in all, the Faber Group Fund donated €50.000 in 2018. For 2019, the Fund has allocated €.100,000.
Being an internationally oriented company, Faber Group hopes to bring the cooperation with the Prins Bernhard Culture Fund to other parts of Europe. Not surprisingly, timber and wood will be a recurring theme in the projects that the Fund will support. Increasing the sustainability of forestry, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, stimulating diversity and improving nature values are among the primary objectives.
