FABER retains EcoVadis Platinum for sixth consecutive year with improved score of 90/100

Ecovadis 2026 News

20 October 2026

FABER has once again received Platinum recognition following its latest EcoVadis sustainability assessment. With an improved overall score of 90 out of 100, up from 86 in the previous assessment, FABER continues to rank among the top 1% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, marking six consecutive years at Platinum level.

The latest result reflects continued progress in embedding sustainability into our business practices, from responsible sourcing and environmental management to ethical conduct and employee well-being.

Independent recognition of sustainability management
EcoVadis is an independent sustainability rating provider that assesses companies across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The assessment examines the policies, actions and results that shape how companies manage sustainability. For FABER, it provides an important external benchmark, helping us evaluate our approach, identify opportunities for improvement and demonstrate our commitment to responsible business practices.
Maintaining Platinum recognition is particularly significant as sustainability expectations and assessment standards continue to evolve.

Tangible progress behind the improved score
The increase to 90 points reflects a series of developments across FABER over the past twelve months.

Key achievements include:

  • Responsible sourcing: Nearly 100% of wood purchasing is FSC- or PEFC-certified.

  • Climate action: FABER’s emissions reduction targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

  • Transparency: Our external sustainability progress report has undergone third-party verification.

  • Corporate governance: New policies strengthen our sustainability management framework.

  • Operational integration: Sustainability considerations are becoming more firmly embedded in HR, operations, risk management and procurement.

These developments have contributed to improved scores across all four EcoVadis assessment themes.

What this means for our customers and partners
As a provider of circular load carrier pooling solutions, FABER recognises the importance of responsible business practices throughout the supply chain.
Customers increasingly expect transparency, accountability and evidence of how sustainability is managed within their business relationships.
The EcoVadis assessment provides an independent view of how FABER addresses these expectations, supporting transparency and helping customers make informed decisions about their supply chain partners.
Our progress reflects not only the development of stronger policies and reporting practices but also the work of teams throughout the organisation to integrate these principles into everyday operations.

Continued progress remains our priority
Achieving Platinum recognition for six consecutive years is an important milestone, but it is not the destination.
The assessment highlights both the progress we have made and the opportunities that remain. By continuing to strengthen our policies, processes and sustainability initiatives, we aim to create lasting value for our customers, partners, employees and the wider supply chain.

At FABER, sustainability is an ongoing commitment – supported by action, accountability and continuous improvement.
