As part of Global Goals Week, at Faber Group we emphasize the importance of collaboration in accelerating sustainability. SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, reflects a shared responsibility to work across sectors and disciplines to deliver long-term impact. For Faber Group, this means actively partnering throughout the supply chain, not just to improve operations, but to build systems that are more resilient and circular by design.

From Shared Standards to Circular Solutions

Sustainability in logistics is not achieved in isolation. Cooperation with retailers, suppliers, logistics providers, depots and load carrier manufacturers is essential to rethinking how materials are used and how goods move. These partnerships form the foundation for our pooling models and enable scalable solutions that reduce waste and increase efficiency across Europe.

Working with suppliers is also central to this approach. Through a shared Code of Conduct and regular sustainability assessments, we promote accountability and alignment on social and environmental standards across our value chain.

Operational collaboration is complemented by customer partnerships that support more circular flows. In the UK and Ireland, a transport project developed jointly with customers demonstrated how aligned planning can lower emissions while improving transport performance. Such partnerships help extend the lifecycle of load carriers, reduce unnecessary movements and close the loop on reverse logistics.

Engaging Beyond the Supply Chain

The exchange of knowledge across the industry plays a critical role as well. Participation in platforms such as GS1 and Lean and Green allows Faber Group to contribute to shared sustainability frameworks and benefit from collective learning. These engagements foster broader progress and help accelerate alignment across the logistics sector.

Beyond supply chain collaboration, our work extends into the communities where we operate. In Spain and Portugal, we have partnered with Landlife to support reforestation projects, contributing to environmental restoration in the regions we serve. These initiatives reflect a wider view of partnership, one that includes ecological and social impact alongside business outcomes.

Making Sustainability a Shared Journey

By working together across supply chains, industries and regions, Faber Group brings the principles of SDG 17 to life. Every collaboration helps to build smarter logistics, scale circular practices and reinforce sustainability as a collective responsibility.
